Blog Azeroth Topic: Well I never …

…even thought I would have 100 gold.

Heck it felt like I would NEVER get to a level where my NE could mount a cat.

Indeed I thought I’d never pay 5000 gold for a flying cat-bug-bat.

& I never thought I’d win a an awesome roll.

I never believed I would like to cook (lightning chops FTW.)

& I never thought I would understand WTFBBQ, QQ, FTW, POWN, LFM UBRS or any of that ‘General’ crap (now iz can speak bad l33t in ma sleep.)

I honestly thought I would never see the day one of my characters managed to complete all 3 of the blasted tortuous chicken escort quests.

I never really thought that I really wouldn’t be able to see the ‘Bloody HUGE’ Devilsaur coming to bite my damn head off.

I never thought I would actually BE one of those lvl 1 loons naked dancing on a mail box (but I guess it’s a bit like wow-pox.)

I never thought I would hate chuck Norris with a passion that is unlikely to die (but spam has ways of moving a girl.)

I thought I would never be crazy enough to spend more than three hours grinding the same boring mob because of not having the cash to afford one damn AH pearl.

I never thought I would be keyed for molten core… and that one day it would matter little anymore.

I never thought I’d own an epic … or that I would toss it for a green.

(Milk & Cookies: The pirates who dont do anything)

Nah truthfully the big I NEVER:
Well I never thought I would get so integrated into the wow community to the point that I would have around 190 wow blogs channeled into an RSS feed reader, listen to MMO related podcasts and even start a wow-blog and recognise abbreviated community names like BBB & BRK.

I am not really a ‘joiner’ RL side.

& I really thought that I would never be playing the same computer game for more than a year … I am a fairly easily bored individual.

In fact being involved in anything (beyond work and social circle that is) to the point where I actually get 90% of all the community in jokes is rather a shock.

Ha 🙂 ahh well good times!

I am in the same boat as you regarding the blogging community. Like many of us, I started out by reading the venerable BBB, Matticus, some YAWN, then got hooked on Resto4Life and TJ. Next thing you know, I am approaching the 150 mark in my reader, and am writing my own blog! Funny how that happens, isn’t it? It certainly is a great community to be part of though.

It is isn’t it – the wow community keeps me hooked when I get game burnout 🙂

    Ditto on:
I honestly thought I would never see the day one of my characters managed to complete all 3 of the blasted tortuous chicken escort quests.

And while I am at it.. Ditto on blogging

I have level 70 guildies who refuse to help my alts with the chicken quests … they have been scarred that bad lol

I completed one of the quests at the right level. When I hit 70, I went back to try and grind out the drops, I think I gave up and returned 3 times over a period of several months.

One night it all fell together.. nearly, got the last 2 bits of the “puzzle”, then went off for the final escort quest. As I approached the chicken, 2 other guys started the quest (with me yelling and screaming “Nooooo wait for me…”

So I escorted them to the end of the quest. That was really the 1st time I had a lot of fun with Blast Wave… the 2 guys couldn’t believe how I was one shotting all the mobs…

Then I had to go back and do it myself… don’t regret it… everytime I mount on my trusty Mechanostrider, my mechanical chicken is at my side.

Same: with my shammy I completed all the quests at the right level, two of the quests solo – there was much ganking – there was much blood (all mine.)

But once you get the chicken you feel this adamant need to display the chicken eh lol

Now I too help out any poor sod I see go past with a chicken should I be in the area at the right time ^_^ I’m sure its good karma.
