Switcher Tips (personal opinion stuff) Part I:

For the Horde going towards the bright blue light:

The Draenei starting area is THE best alliance starting area for rep, rewards, money and questing convenience (as is to be expected for a revamped starting zone.)

The in-joke among the NE population is that the Night Elf race is soo buff because they have to run back and forth and back and forth around that particular starting zone. Unless you love lore you’re best making one long run to the docks and catching a boat from Dark Shore to the Draenei starting zone (where you hang until lvl 20 anyway.)

Humans have uber reputation goodness.

If I was a gnome or a dwarf I would leg it to Ironforge and catch a tram to Stormwind and hang in the human starting area … but that is probably due to the fact that I despise Troggs.

The first inn in the Human lands “Lions Pride” in Goldshire can attract roleplayers, noobs and duelists … as well as the Dark moon Faire – as such it can be a fairly happening place, if you are bored of hanging around the city AH or bank.

As a dwarf, human or gnome making a run for the Draenei Zone (outside of warlock summons, portals to Darnassus or an escort) can be quite painful because you need to pass through the wetlands and you will be eaten alive by spiders, crocs and raptors.

If you have bad lag or bad graphics beware of falling down the forge in iron forge … there are ways out but if you can’t see em you are going to have to hearth.

Little Timmy isn’t really going to drown that kitten but if you see him in Stormwind nab the thing anyway and sell it for gold on the AH.

Ashenvale, Southshore and Darkshire are the lowbie zones that can expect Horde ganking (if possible.)

You are now expected to make Tauren burger jokes.

Many NEs are called legolas, leggoolass, leglas, leolas and other variations of terrible terrible spellings. You will learn that this is mostly done to piss the horde off.

You will learn that what you thought were BG alliance haxs (where the bleeding twinkie rouge went furborg for example) were not in fact a cheats but rather quest-lines.

Do not attempt to jump from the top of any NE tree buildings – you will die.

You can fall off the NE world tree … and die.

You may never ever go to the barrens (unbelievable I know)

You will learn that Horde cities have a back door.

Stormwind city urban legend holds that there is a croc in the sewers … we recommend you investigate this.

There is also a mysterious monster in the oceans viewed from the deeprun tram tunnels.

Another switcher tip: When in a battleground and you see an alliance and you think “Quick, kill him” … well it just won’t work 😦 he’s on your side now.

    Oh yeah forgot that one:
The Horde base and Tunnel in WSG is on longer your base – and the big Tauren you are attempting to stand behind is not going to assist you. Bwahahahah – that has happened to me soo badly!
